The annual Kentucky Career Development Conference will be held in Louisville, KY at the Galt House East Hotel.

This conference will bring together some 1000 students, DECA Advisors, judges and friends for competition, fun, and leadership. Eligible students are voting delegates, event winners who placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd 4th or 5th place at each of the regional conference held in January and February or those participating in any special events. All DECA Chapters are invited to attend as this is the highlight of the DECA year for most DECA members. 

DECA and its events offer students the opportunity to showcase the skills that they have learned in the classroom. Additionally, preparing for competition allow students to practice skills that are realistic and patterned after real on the job experiences. 

Judging for each of these events are business or business related person that know what is expected in the real world and make DECA competition a true preparation for life.
