| Advertising Campaign is a business plan
event, providing an opportunity for the students to prepare an advertising
campaign for a real product, service, company or business and to present the
campaign to a prospective client/advertiser. The team will also indicate an
appropriate budget and select media.
The participant team composed of one to three members will present the advertising campaign proposal to the judge in a 20-minute presentation—15 minutes for the team presentation and 5 minutes for judge questions. The judge will evaluate the presentation, focusing on the effectiveness of public speaking and presentation skills and how well the student responds to questions that the judge may ask during the presentation.
