| Creative Marketing Project is a chapter
project that develops an analytical and creative approach to the marketing
process, actively engages chapter members in the marketing activities of
their community, and provides an opportunity for experienced executives to
guide and assist in developing marketing, management and entrepreneurship
leaders of tomorrow.
The chapter has conducted a research study providing an opportunity for the chapter representatives to demonstrate the skills necessary in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the project. Prior to the presentation, the judge will evaluate the written portion, the major emphasis of which is the content. The oral presentation by a chapter representative team composed of one to three members may be a maximum of 15 minutes in length—10 minutes for the team presentation and 5 minutes for judge questioning. The team members will explain and describe the project completed. The judge will evaluate the presentation, focusing on the effectiveness of public speaking and presentation skills and how well the students respond to questions the judge may ask during the presentation.
