| Judging at the state conference is a very rewarding experience.
In fact, many of our judges routinely judge for us or other states if their
job requires them to move because it is such a positive experience.
Judging is not complicated. You will be evaluating the skills you use every day in your business or industry. You will be thoroughly briefed by the event coordinators running the event before you start and throughout the day. Community service – Many companies encourage employees to participate in community service, and DECA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All judges receive a follow-up letter shortly after the conference, thanking them for volunteering as a judge. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to your help.
